AUTOMATED MAN-OVERBOARD DETECTION & TRACKING
MULTI-SENSOR DETECTION, ALERT & RESCUE SUPPORT
MOBtronic automatically detects, classifies and alerts users to a human falling from a vessel.
WHAT IS MOBtronic
MOBtronic provides enhanced awareness and increased reaction time to man-overboard incidents, supporting decision making and aiding rescue.
Each MOBtronic unit is self-contained combining micro-radars, imaging sensors and computer processing to automatically detect, classify and track falling objects.
Multiple sensor stations mounted around the vessel at strategic locations simultaneously and continuously monitor volumes of interest.
2. DETECTION & ANALYSIS
Falling objects are automatically and instantly detected, then behaviour of the confirmed tracks is analysed based on speed, fall direction, shape & strength, while independent visual sensors confirm a MOB incident.
3. TRACKING & RESCUE
Merging of multiple sensors ensures MOB radar tracks are further classified based on IR heat signature (object shape, dimension & range), while live video feeds and tracking of the victim aids rescue operations.
INTUITIVE COMMAND & CONTROL
The intuitive MOBtronic command and control interface automatically presents clear radar and video evidence for immediate identification and verification by the crew, while tracking of the victim at sea supports rapid response.
- Over 45,000 hours of vessel operation, largest MOB dataset worldwide
- Operationally proven, 7,000 test jumps, with over 1,000 days at sea
- High reliability with >95%+ average Probability of Detection
- Minimised burden for crew, <1 per day average MOB notification
- 120 days data recording, storage & replay
- CVSSA Bill compliant
MOBtronic provides redundancy and reliable operation in diverse maritime environments and conditions. Built to IP68 standards, the self-contained units are specifically designed for ease of installation, maintenance and operation.
