MARSS Group announces another significant addition to their management team with the appointment of Mike Collier to MARSS UK Ltd as of July 1st.
During a distinguished 20-year naval career, Mike rose from naval apprentice to commissioned officer specialising in Combat Management Systems.
Mike transferred skills in engineering and project management delivering a complex communications, command and data centre project for UK Fire and Rescue Services and leading surveillance, CBRN and anti-piracy projects for Cobham Surveillance.
Since 2013, Mike has led multiple surveillance, security and safety research projects for Carnival Corporation. Most recently, Mike led the cruise industry Man Overboard working group, supporting the definition of ISO 21195 (man-overboard detection), officially published on the 30th June 2020.
As Product Development Manager for MARSS, Mike will spearhead product strategy, including MARSS MOBtronic and NiDAR solutions for the protection of lives and assets, further developing MARSS innovation in defence and security expertise.
