An enhanced CUAS solution has been announced by MARSS, providing government, military and civilian customers with the latest technology in local air defence.

CUAS drone classification and denial capabilities have now been incorporated into the market-leading MARSS NiDAR AI Command and Control system. This improved performance incorporates the ability to detect, jam, and if necessary neutralise life-threatening unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in seconds. Throughout October, MARSS has been demonstrating this 'world-first’ turnkey CUAS solution.

Using MARSS’ significant expertise in the sector, this development responds to growing threats of hostile drones and unmanned aerial systems (UAS). MARSS Group can offer unrivalled detection and defence from micro-size to larger tactical drones.

The latest development of the NiDAR C2 system fuses the very best in CUAS technology, to protect people and assets with proprietary Artificial Intelligence and state-of-the-art countermeasures.

With a multi-layered approach, the NiDAR system is capable of detecting tactical UAS from distances of over 15km. Combining radar, radio frequency (RF) detection and EO cameras to identify threats and trigger responses, NiDAR also learns from events and actions owing to powerful AI integration.

MARSS has worked alongside industry leaders in countermeasure design to introduce multiple levels of denial into an intuitive C2 system that saves lives.  From standard targeted radio frequency and GPS jamming, to the latest in long-range effectors rendering threats incapable, NiDAR disrupts UAS operations and eliminates verified threats in seconds.

Johannes Pinl, MARSS founder and CEO, commented: “We can’t underestimate airborne threats - not from hobbyist drones but from sophisticated UAVs that put real lives at risk. It’s the reason NiDAR CUAS is being deployed in the most hostile locations and why government, military and heads of state place their trust in our technology.”
